WHY NOW? BECAUSE SOME ARTISTS ARE NOT ON EARTH TO MAKE MUSIC...BUT TO INVESTIGATE OUR CHOICES, OUR LIVES, OUR THOUGHTS. TO QUESTION THE ESTABLISHED ORDER...TO SHAKE UP CONVENTIONS AND RECEIVED IDEAS.
Do they do it consciously?...necessarily a little to some extent...but most of the time...they just say what's on their mind and that's enough to shake the world.
Madonna never had her tongue in her pocket...about anything.
she asks herself questions...to which she probably doesn't have the answer herself.
But that's not what matters! She expresses herself....without concessions. In 5mn38...she succeeded in enraging an incalculable number of people.
They say it's a girl looking for problems....in fact she's looking for answers...and by doing this, she finds the real people who have a problem.
These people who relate to race...religion...freedom of expression... become hysterical over any form of art that could challenge their beliefs.
And if Jesus was black......Would it be really horrible?...the whole message would be false?!
